Alexander Michie (1833–1902) was a Scottish author, journalist, businessman, and traveler. He lived in China from 1853 to 1891. He was editor of the English-language The Chinese Times in Tientsin. His best known book recounts his experiences traveling overland from Peking to Saint Petersburg, Russia in 1863.
